This one-of-a-kind 14k gold ring centers around a luminous elongated cushion rose cut diamond held within a flowing sculptural form. The surrounding lines fold and sweep around the stone, creating a sense of movement while allowing the diamond to remain open, and light-filled.
Created using the ancient Japanese art form Mitsuro Hikime, the ring begins as hand-warmed wax that is stretched and shaped to develop natural linear textures before being cast in gold. The resulting surface carries subtle striations and organic movement that make the piece feel both sculptural and timeless.
The ring has an understated elegance with a distinctly contemporary form.
