This hand fabricated sterling silver bracelet blends a sculptural cuff with a hand fabricated chain. Crushed natural turquoise is inlaid into crevices, recalling flashes of blue sky visible through the narrow openings of Antelope Canyon’s red rock walls.
The chain links have a subtle linear groove pattern inspired by the layered strata carved into the canyon stone. The bracelet closes with a magnetic clasp for easy fastening.
The flowing textures come from Mitsuro Hikime, an ancient Japanese wax art practiced for over a millennium. As the wax is softened and pulled by hand, it develops organic lines that become part of the finished metal once the piece is cast.
