A dusk moon of sterling silver rises behind a natural dendritic agate that resembles fireflies amongst a grove of trees on a hillside. The stone is set in prongs of 18 karat gold contrasted against a blackened sterling silver frame. The back of the stone is open to let light thru and show off how beautiful the stone is on both sides.
Chain: blackened sterling silver box style, length: 18” (if you need this adjusted please let me know the length you need in the notes section during checkout)
Pendant measurements: 1 inch x 3/4 inch
Dendritic agates:
Dendrites are inclusions within a stone that appear organic and plant like. Millions of years ago, trace amounts of manganese and iron in solution from neighboring rock gained access to these forming agates. The elements, after seeping thru fine surface fractures, crystallized inside. In the most rare agates they resemble natural beauties like trees, flowers, corals and moonlit nights. These gemstones are highly sought after and collectable.
