Dreaming of tide pooling on the coast. I’ve collected 5 of these little translucent dendritic agates and bezel set them in beautifully detailed 3 dimensional sterling silver sea urchins. Pendant hangs from a sterling silver textured cable link chain.
Dendritic agates:
Dendrites (Greek for plant-like) are inclusions that appear organic due to their plant like structure. Trace amounts of manganese and iron in solution from neighboring rock gain access to forming agate. The elements, after seeping thru fine surface fractures, crystallize inside the agate in branching fractal patterns creating these natural, rare gemstones.
Pendant measures 1/2 inch. A perfect size to wear everyday.
Chain can be worn at both 17 and 18 inches.
