The Ripcurl Ring is a sculptural sterling silver ring formed using the ancient Japanese wax technique Mitsuro Hikime. In this process, softened wax is stretched to create organic linear textures that cannot be replicated.
Undulating wave like curls wrap around the finger, forming a dimensional structure with layered movement and depth. The lines reveal the physical pulling of the wax, resulting in a dynamic surface that feels both fluid and architectural.
Each ring is individually created, ensuring that no two pieces are alike.
